Istanbul is now one of my favorite places to visit because of its rich history and mixed influence of cultures. Turkey is located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, which makes it a country of rich and diverse foods. To be honest, Istanbul has some of the best street food I’ve ever tasted. Foods like simit, kabaps, watermelon, chestnuts and fresh roasted corn on the cob were some of my favorite.

Visitors can get around very easily by tram and metro connection, but I recommend walking by foot to take photos of the beautiful scenery. Prices on pretty much everything are inexpensive and if you shop at certain markets you can barter on prices getting an even better deal on your purchases.

I recommend:
Trying Turkish tea
Touring the Blue Mosque
Eating local Kabob
Visit Taksim Square
Visit Bosphorus
Visit the Grand Bazar
