Train enthusiasts and supporters gathered at King Street Train Station (Seattle) today to celebrate National Train Day. National Train Day is a holiday created to spread information about the advantages of rail travel and the history of trains in the United States.
In celebration of National Train Day Tom Douglas, American executive chef and restaurateur was preparing food samples people to try.

The San Francisco Travel Association was also on hand to chat about the new “Cable Car” edition Amtrak train to San Francisco. This special “Cable Car” train will be traveling the Seattle-Los Angeles route through the end of May and connects the West Coast most popular destination, including Santa Barbra, Portland and San Francisco.
